OUR STORY
The Rossmoor Woman's Club organized on March 27, 1958, and ever since then, our members -- who come from all over Orange and Los Angeles counties -- have been working to improve the quality of life for people in the community and surrounding areas. We provide financial support, volunteer hours and in-kind donations throughout Rossmoor, Los Alamitos, Seal Beach, Long Beach and Orange County.
As our mission statement says: "The Rossmoor Woman's Club gives women a place to foster their talents and friendships while serving the community."

Among other things, we grant scholarships to each student of the month from Los Alamitos High School,
sort food for Food Finders, cook meals at the Ronald McDonald House in Long Beach, donate clothes to Women Helping Women and backpacks and Christmas gifts to children of military families.
Our official community outreach organizations include:

• The Bethune Transitional Center, Long Beach
• Fix Long Beach
• Joint Forces Training Base
• Los Alamitos High School Scholarships
• The Los Alamitos Museum Association
* Lydia House
• Pathways to Independence
• Precious Life Shelter
• St. Isidore Historical Plaza
• We Care Family Support Center

But it's not all work and no play. We socialize at monthly luncheon meetings and in a variety of special interest groups, called sections, where members can garden, craft, golf, play bunco, discuss books, cook and more.

We are affiliated with the California Federation of Women's Clubs and the General Federation of Women’s Clubs, an international community service organization that provides education, training and interaction opportunities for volunteers.
