We love Veterans/Vets love us!

What a nice thank you from Deborah Ludke, chair of the Veterans Appreciation Committee, for the Valentines the Rossmoor Woman's Club made for veterans at the Long Beach Medical Center! It warmed our hearts to know our efforts made the veterans happy!

Dear Rossmoor Woman’s Club,

On behalf of the VA Long Beach Healthcare System I would like to thank you whole heartedly for your extremely thoughtful, kind, creative, and generous donation of the many absolutely beautiful and wonderful hand-made valentines for our Veterans once again this Valentine’s Day. I cannot begin to thank you enough for all the time, hard work, and love that goes into making these beautiful cards and our Veterans Appreciation Committee was so very grateful for the opportunity to deliver them to the Veterans all over the hospital for you!

I have the pleasure of chairing our Veterans Appreciation Committee at the Tibor Rubin VA Long Beach Medical Center, which is a committee made up of employees, volunteers, and Veterans who are passionate about honoring our Veterans and letting them know that we care and truly appreciate their service and the opportunity to serve them.

One of our very favorite activities during the year is our annual Valentine’s Day distribution! When I told my committee about you and the cards you made, we were overjoyed to deliver the valentines to our Veterans currently in the hospital and share the love from all of you to each Veteran. It was truly an amazing experience! The Veterans were SO HAPPY (many were tearful with joy) and we were HAPPY, too! Cutest cards EVER!!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart (and OUR HEARTS) for making all that happiness and cheerfulness possible. You are very special indeed...special to our Veterans Appreciation Committee, to the Tibor Rubin VA Long Beach Medical Center, and special to our Nation’s Veterans!

P.S. I grew up in Rossmoor-I went to Weaver Elementary and Oak Junior High! Rossmoor is a very special place to me and I had the biggest smile on my face when I saw that your club so beautifully donated cards once again for our Veterans! Thank you AGAIN!!
